Actress Lana Lourdes to Sign Copies of Her Autobiography

American actress Lana Lourdes will sign copies of her autobiography, “Life of an Actress”, from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Wilkinson Library, NYC. The memoir portrays her upbringing and prolific film career, from being cast at her first on stage role, to staring alongside some of the biggest actors of today’s world.

Working on “Bills” was a unique experience that opened many doors to the than emerging actress. Many people are curious how this epic TV series was conceived in the first place, and how it was actually created.

Lourdes was born in Detroit and lived there in her teen years. In addition to “Bills,” Lana has appeared in many other successful television shows, including “Duke Patsy,” “The Small Hill,” “Narrow Bridges” and many more.

Writing “Life of an Actress” was a long and demanding process, penned at the request of her fans who wanted an inside look at what it was like to come to New York City from a small Detroit suburb, and make it in the film industry. Her beginnings weren’t easy, and within the book she proudly explains her struggle, going to bed hungry, just so she can buy a train ticket and make it to the next audition. Lana Lourdes started writing about her life and as she got more into the book, it started to further evolve and develop, becoming very inspiring.

Once she started talking about the power of perseverance and moving forward no matter what happens, there were so many things that needed to be said, and the pages kind of wrote themselves. The obstacles and crisis that Lana was able to get through inspired so many twitter followers.

Wilkinson Library in New York is simply one of the many locations planned for Lana’s extensive book tour. For actress Lourdes, the book tour appearances are only a platform that will allow her to interact with fans and people interested in her story, maybe even some that are featured in the book.

Copies of “Life of an Actress” will be available at all of the signings. Lana Lourdes is also planning to read excerpts from the publication and answer questions from the audience.

Actress Lana Lourdes is "A Goddess" in the new video

Music and song arrangement was signed by Boris Levi as so far.

“A Goddess,” the song that was released earlier this month by the music band “Sons of the Valley,” which is already in the first week of its release and has reached a high position in the IHG list on the social networks, recently got a video edition.

The video was filmed in two locations. Part of the video was filmed at the city theatre "Brooklyn Open" in Brooklyn, and the other part was filmed in the old Belvedere castle in Manhattan. Roman Zimmerman is again the director of the video, whereas the first Rico Costa appears as his assistant. Emma Bush took care of the make up in the film set.

- For me, she is a perfect woman that radiates warmth and kindness. “A Goddess,” in the song is a young artist who fascinates the man with her beauty that he is literally dying for her – Rick Lithgow, the front man of the band, described the song.

Lana Lourdes, the young actress from the city theatre "New Wave Theater" also appears in the music video.

- Filming this video was a big challenge for me – starts young artist Lourdes. The story takes place in a beautiful castle in Manhattan and I think that's contributed to the atmosphere that we wanted to achieve. The team was really great, very professional, the atmosphere was very pleasant. When I arrived, I went immediately to look the castle where we’re going to shoot. It was more than cold out there, but in the midst of the winter, the guys tried to return the whiff of spring in the devastated castle. The results are good cooperation, new friends, and a good project, I hope - said Lana Lourdes.

Lourdes revealed how it was working on the filming set.

- Amazing team, a cold climate that kept us awake. Lana played her part great of course. The grade for the realization and the atmosphere on the set is an A.

Music and song arrangement are signed by Boris Levi, the text is written by Valery Dittos. It’s already proven that they are great tandem, because they are the authors of almost every hit song of “Sons of the Valley.”

- Valery and Boris work really well together, they proved it in the last ten songs. Both are professionals, and together they are definitely a winning combination, especially for us - they correlate with the band.
