It is the most wonderful time of the year. As we are getting ready to put yet another year behind us, actress, Lana Lourdes has been preparing to tackle on a new role. But before taking a chance into a new adventure, she tries to make the best of the few days left in the old year to look back on some of her best moments captured on screen. For that purpose the actress decided to play a little game when she’s out in public. Namely, the Detroit girl decided to discover which role fans want to talk about before they finally approach her in public. People come up to me on a daily basis, says the stunning actress. Some fans want an autograph, there are also those who want to ask a specific question related to some of my roles, while others simply want to say hello and congratulate me on my work. I love meeting my fans, and I always try to invest as much quality time with them as possible. I can get recognized five times in a day, and it will be for five different reasons. I never know what someone is going to ask, Lourdes says. A lot of people just shout, “Hey isn’t that Lana Lourdes”!
That began happening after she was casted in the major summer hit “Peddles.” In fact, when Lana was casted for the role, she had no idea how much it would change things, in terms of her career. For the talented artist it was a true delight to work on such movie, and meet all those incredible people. It was a unique journey that I will treasure forever, and the fact that this role helped me get recognized, only makes the entire experience that much better, says the famous actress.
Her next project is something that she had been working on for the past several months. It is a great family movie that opens on Christmas Day, and that’s so exciting. It is something that the entire family can enjoy watching,” Lana says. “It is both fun and magical.”
The way she explains it, if the audience watching the movie has at least half of the amount of fun as she had making it, it will be a winner. The role was a dream job to her, because she got to spend time with her family, while doing what she loves the most. The movie location was also a dream come true, as most of the scenes were shoot in some of the most beautiful parts of Denmark. Also, the chemistry with her co-stars was great, and they had time to really get to know each other.
Lana Lourdes started acting at a very early age and moved to Los Angeles in the mid 90’s to work in TV and film. Her long list of credits includes “Wee Hours,” “Earl,” “Mountain Gate,” “The Goode” and many others. Apart from her with her Christmas Day movie, the actress has been working on other future projects.
